WHO: You do not have to be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander to attend these workshops; everyone in the community is welcome because culture is for everyone to share and experience.

Experience the visual conversation of weaving with Ngarrabul / Yuwaalaraay / Kooma artist, Waabii (Adele) Chapman-Burgess, as she brings First Nations stories to life through weaving and yarning using traditional knowledge with modern tools to share and promote culture. Choose from a selection of starter kits with various stitches and colours to create your very own story to take home in the form of a woven bangle, coolamon or basket.

A few delicious treats and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage will be supplied.

BRING: An open heart and a fun attitude, ready to connect and share with each other and with culture.
